Andreas Bakkerud has gained a stunning win in the fifth round of the 2016 World Rallycross Championship in his home event in Hell. Timmy Hansen and Matttias Ekstrom complete an all Scandinavian podium.
Two days, two rounds: The fourth and fifth rounds of the 2016 Global Rallycross Championship have been won by Steve Arpin and Tanner Foust.
Last weekend saw TouringCar drivers compete for the second round of their championship with the RX Lites Cup drivers competing for their fourth round. Both Gehrman and Bryntesson took their respective events in Hell at the Lankebanen.
A hell-raising Euro RX final has been won in hell by the Swedish youngster Kevin, who took a clean-sweep in qualifying and a start-to-finish win in the Final. Tord Linnerud and Tamas Pal Kiss make up the podium.
Both Bakkerud and Kevin Hansen secure pole in their respective classes, with clean sweeps of Hell qualification, as we head in this afternoon’s semi-finals and final.

Competitors in Hell have driven their second session of practice at the Lånkebanen as part of the two free practice sessions last night and this morning.
