Norwegian Petter ‘Hollywood’ Solberg is the first driver ever to claim two FIA World championship titles in completely different motorsport disciplines.
By finishing in third place behind winner Timmy Hansen (Peugeot 208 SuperCar) and runner-up Richard Göransson (Ford Fiesta Mk7 ST SuperCar) it is Petter Solberg (Citroën DS3 SuperCar) who claims the first ever FIA World Rallycross Championship title. The 2003 World Rally Champion and 2014 World Rallycross Champion is 60 points ahead of his closest competitor Toomas Heikkinen (VW Polo Mk5 SuperCar) and, therefore, has become unbeatable in the two remaining WRX rounds of Turkey and Argentina, having currently four overall victories on his tally.
