The SuperCars class may have produced some brilliant performances but it has so far been the ERC’s Super1600s and TouringCars classes, that have shown distinct patterns of rivalry. Andreas Bakkerud was crowned victorious in his Super1600 Set Promotion Renault Twingo, whilst Irishman Derek Tohill won the TouringCars class during round two last weekend.

NEZ: Linnemann defends Denmark

The first of four rounds counting for the 2012 FIA Northern European Zone Rallycross Championship series was won by Linnemann, Jørgensen, Nilsen and Frøshaug at the Nysumbanen in Denmark.

In the footsteps of “Stinsen”

Swede Robin Larsson, the son of double European Rallycross Champion Lars “Stinsen” Larsson, has revealed the livery of his Škoda Fabia TouringCar today and is set to jump on the ERC bandwagon in Greinbach.

FRC: Sérazin claims Faleyras

Today Belgian Rallycross ace Jochen Coox revealed the livery of his new VW Scirocco Mk3 SuperCar in the making, the design has been thought up by ERC24′s Qba Nitka.

Marc Laboulle has “downsized” his 2009 FRC winning Citroën Xsara SuperCar while René Münnich is using a 1400cc engine in his Super1600 Škoda Fabia Mk2. Is this the start of a retrogression trend for the ERC?
