On June 11 ERC24 revealed on its Facebook that Swede Mattias Ekström is going to drive the second Marklund Motorsport VW Polo Mk5 SuperCar in the Munich X Games. Today it was released that the son of ex-Rallycrosser Bengt Ekström will also participate in the Swedish RallycrossRX round at Höljes. Ekström has not driven in a true Rallycross competition yet, but has claimed four overall victories in as many ‘Race of Champion’ (ROC) events between 2005 and 2009. « ERC24
