Category: Miscellaneous, News Posted 12.11.14 10:45 by

British Citroën Xsara SuperCar campaigner Mad Mark Watson gets full pressure backing from Mend-A-Hose Hydraulics Ltd. for next year’s Rallycross action.

Mend-A-Hose Hydraulics Ltd. is proud to be announced as new title sponsors of the Mad Mark Motorsport team for the coming season. After nearly a year off track and a complete rebuild of his well-known Citroën Xsara SuperCar November 16 at Croft Circuit near Darlington will see Mark back on track and competing at the highest level for the first time since the revamp.

The car will then also carry the name of Mend-A-Hose from Castleford for the first time. A new major sponsorship deal has just been announced with the company that will secure Mark racing in the British Rallycross Championship, the Rallycross Challenge Europe and some of the world rounds in 2015. John Duff, owner of Mend-A-Hose, came to Croft for the British Rallycross Grand Prix [on October 19] and saw how popular the team and Mark was and couldn’t pass up the opportunity of gaining exposure for his thriving company being placed on his unique Rallycross car.

MAH Hydraulics services stocks and markets the widest range of pneumatic and hydraulic hoses, fittings and associated products along with a 24hr National on-site hose replacement service. John Duff commented: “Mark and his team are dedicated individuals with a passion and belief that mirrors our company ethics, so attaching our brand to such dedication is an easy decision to make. We hope with the backing of MAH and other sponsors he can go on to achieve more championships than he already has.”

MAH Hydraulics joins Mark’s regular sponsors The Jersey Farm Hotel and Hog Roast Yorkshire to make sure he has the budget to compete at the highest level for the 2015 season. “The last few years has seen us doing lots of promotional events and shows to raise  the team profile and this has finally paid off in gaining this level of involvement from such high profile companies, we always have new ways of gaining exposure,” Mark concluded.
