May 14 2015 is the >50th< birthday of Belgian Rallycrosser Patrick Mertens, here pictured – by our Dutch snapper Dave Smeets – while nearing the point of no return with his Division 1A VW Polo GTI during the Dutch 2007 European Rallycross Championship round at the Eurocircuit in Valkenswaard. May 14 2015 is also the 35th birthday of British Retro-Rallycrosser James Harrold. A very Happy Birthday from ERC24 to both!
