8-times Rally World Champion Sébastien Loeb is set to drive X Games in 14-times European Rallycross Champion Kenneth Hansen’s Citroën DS3 SuperCar.

8-times Rally World Champion Sébastien Loeb and 14-times European Rallycross Champion Kenneth Hansen are finally united after 15 years under the wings of Citroën Racing to do the unofficial Olympic Games of Motorsports, the X Games 18 in Los Angeles.

“It is an honour and very inspiring to work with Sébastien,” Kenneth Hansen says and looks more than happy. “Citroën Racing and Red Bull have made this cooperation become reality. A great idea which I think has the potential to be something really good.”

Kenneth Hansen, who just returned to Sweden after tests in France with the Citroën DS3, that to honour the occasion is called Citroën DS3 “XL” [X for X Games, L for Loeb]. “The tests have been rewarding and Sébastien was pleased and happy so far,” Kenneth says.

The French motorsport company Oreca and Hansen Motorsport work closely together with Citroën Racing to be able to give Loeb the best possible conditions to take on the challenge from American Red Bull megastar Travis Pastrana on who to call “the best of the best”.

One can be sure that both, Sébastien Loeb and Kenneth Hansen will do everything in their power to win that title. The two Citroën drivers having the same will and instinct to win, this time with Loeb behind the steering wheel and Hansen as his coach.
