The weather forecast for the weekend of the Finnish ERC round at Kouvola has nothing better but a lot of rain on offer.

It is a long time ago that Finland had his ERC round regularely in the month of May, and it was most of the times an event with a lot of sunshine and enjoyable temperatures. However, we nearing the end of September now and it is pretty cold up here in Kouvola. The weatherman has it that we will have temperatures of between 5 and 10 °C only and while there has been a decent amount of rain already today we are told that tomorrow it would become really very wet here, about halfway between the capital town of Helsinki and the border to Russia.

:-( While yesterday’s racing was surprisingly not hampered by more rainfalls it currently seems this will not be the case for today. It is raining a lot on this part of Finland and the chance that this will stop before the event is finished is tiny. :-(
