Video: It was just the other day that Peugeot Sport has published a very fine video clip about Team Peugeot-Hansen and the Lohéac weekend of the Swedish FIA World Rallycross Championship squad. Seen what we have been shown in the past moving pictures of Rallycross have truly reached another level right now. But have a look yourself and enjoy!
Video: From Italy we understood that former WRC star Gigi Galli is preparing himself for the WorldRX round of Franciacorta. The official Galli Facebook has published a video clip that is hiding almost everything from a test the Italian conducted on September 9. However, rumours have it that he was in Sweden to test a Ford Fiesta SuperCar for his native WRX round, to be held on September 27 and 28. Click here to find the video clip: Galli’s video clip on Facebook.
FIA: Only a few days after Briton Kevin Procter debuted his brand-new Ford Fiesta Mk7 [based on a Super2000 car] with 1760cc engine at Lohéac the following news was spread out from the FIA World Motor Sport Council (WMSC) in Beijing: “The minimum weight of a SuperCar in Rallycross will be set at 1,300kg, as of 1 January 2016 (no matter the cylinder capacity of the engine).” Thereby the idea of running a downsized engine to get a weight advantage of currently 90kg has been spoiled, at least after the running and the 2015 season. However, who knows as if in 2016 the maximum cylinder capacity of a turbocharged engine for Rallycross SuperCars will still be 2058cc [plus the so-called turbofactor 1.7 = 3498.6cc]…
Video: Swedish STCC tarmac racer and regular competitor in his native RallyX Lites series Richard Göransson has yesterday revealed that he is going to participate in both the Italian and the Turkish rounds of the FIA World Rallycross Championship with a Ford Fiesta Mk7 ST SuperCar of OlsbergsMSE. Click here to find his announcement in moving pictures: Göransson’s video clip on Facebook.
