Pembrey wins for Procter and Godfrey can’t stop Rooke as he rallies up the British Rallycross Supercar standings after four rounds.

Pembrey in South Wales, was the host for both rounds three and four of the 2016 MSA British Rallycross Championship.

By the time the weekend was over, Kevin Procter had claimed round three, whilst Julian Godfrey claimed round four. But it was the consistency of young driver Dan Rooke over both events, who is in the middle of his debut Supercar season, that cemented his postion at the top of the Supercar standings.

Speaking to rallycrossbrx.com, Rooke relflected on great weekend:

“I think we’ve had a good haul of points from the weekend. I was hoping to push for a win, but we had a problem with the car, I started the race to make sure of getting points but had to retire immediately,” said Rooke. “It’s a bit disappointing but apart from that it’s been a pretty good weekend. It’s really amazing to have only been driving the car in four events, and a new experience with the wet weather this weekend. It’s great to be in the fight for the championship and hopefully the second half of the season will be as good as the start has been.”
