Norwegian youngster Daniel Holten is set to test Frode Holte’s Volvo C30 SuperCar at the Lånkebanen prior to his two round stand with “Donna” at Hell and Höljes later this month.

Coming Thursday morning Daniel Holten is going to fly to Værnes to test drive “Donna”, the Volvo C30 SuperCar of his compatriot and almost namesake Frode Holte at Hell. On May 23 ERC24 revealed that the young Norwegian has agreed a deal with Holte to drive his 550+bhp Volvo in both, the ERC rounds of Norway and Sweden. The day of his tests is is also the day of the official ERC round press conference for the so-called “Rallycross in Hell” event.

“It was my intention to attend the press conference anyway, but that we were able to make ​​a deal with Frode [Holte] for testing the car is excellent news,” says Holten. The one day program starts on Thursday afternoon with the press conference at 16.00h, subsequently there will be time for practise drives until 21.00h. “Focusing on this, the schedule could not have been better. Now I get the chance to test the car on the very track where I’m going to compete with it for the first time and, thereby, can get the most advantage out of the testing,” claims the 20-year-old from Vikedal.
