The practice sessions are over now in Höljes. The Russian title contender positively stamps down his authority, becoming the fastest SuperCar driver in the Official Timed Practice.
The Official timed practice session ran this afternoon under dry conditions in Höljes. Point’s leader Timur Timerzyanov kicked off his Swedish campaign as the fastest SuperCar driver. The Russian was over a second faster than any other competitor. Norwegian youngster Mats Lysen was the fastest Scandinavian driver, and two times Junior World Rally Champion “P-G” Andersson was a close challenger in the Scandinavian battle, finishing third fastest. Fellow Swede Stig-Olov Walfidsson drove in a fourth fastest lap time as SuperCar drivers get ready to contest the first heat of the weekend.
Frenchman Davy Jeanney did not start the session after pulling out of the free practice session earlier this afternoon. Mechanics have confirmed that his weekend in Sweden is now over.

2011 Super1600 class winner Krzysztof Skorupski was again the fastest in his category. The Pole produced the quickest lap time of 0.49,99, faster than challenging Set Promotion drivers ‘Juspe’ Leppihalme (2nd 0.50,60) and Andreas Bakkerud (3rd 0.50,22). “ For sure I enjoy driving on this track and had some luck here last seasonClemens Meyer who returned to the championship last weekend, continued to look fast. The German was the fourth fastest driver ahead of Ulrik Linnemann. Dane Kim Dall was the only non-starter of the 31 car entry list.

Home driver Robin Larsson made a great start to his weekend in Höljes, producing a fastest lap time significantly faster than closest finisher and Norwegian event winner Lars Oivind Enerberg. Daniel Lundh finished third fastest, building on a podium finish in Hell, Norway.

Kevin Hansen was the fastest of three JRX drivers in their timed practice session. Marat Knazev and Ada Marie Hvaal were the only other finishers, finishing second and third respectively.
