With Swede Patrik Flodin the next prominent Rally driver is changing over to the Rallycross circuits.

Patrik Flodin, the Rally driver from Ilsbo near Hudiksvall in Sweden, is set to drive a 300+bhp strong SuperCar Lites vehicle in the 2014 STCC Swedish Rallycross Championship series called ‘RallyX Supercar Scandinavia’. The 29-year-old, who startet his motorsport career in Motocross and later on in Folkrace events, is racing under the wings of Bring’s Racing, a team previously active with Flodin in the ‘V8 Thundercars’ circuit racing series. “I believe that this combination of Rallying and Racing is a good mix and will fit me like a glove,” said the 2006 Swedish and 2009 Russian Rally Champion, who participated also in a lot of World Rally Championship (WRC) and Production World Rally Championship (PWRC) rounds since 2005.
