Henning Solberg stated today, that doing WorldRX events with the Ford Focus Mk2 SuperCar of triple ERC winner Sverre Isachsen would be an option.

Henning Solberg said prior to the Swedish Rally: “I have a pretty good budget as of today, enough to run at least eight 2014 FIA World championship events. But it still depends all on that budget, if I spend it either in Rallying or in Rallycross. I prefer to participate in the WRC, but that would actually need a bigger budget than I currently have. One alternative would be to compete in WorldRX with the same Saab 9-3 SuperCar [of Eklund Motorsport] that I have used last year. Another option is to race the Ford Focus Mk2 SuperCar (aka “Stina”) that Sverre Isachsen drove to three consecutive ERC titles [2009, 10, 11], still one of the best Rallycross cars on the market. Sverre helped me during last year’s ERC round in Höljes, and maybe it would be a good idea to look for further cooperation.”
