TV: Miss Molly to WorldRX

Category: News Posted 21.03.14 12:00 by

Norwegian racing lady Molly Pettit has agreed to be the ‘LIVE reporter’ for the first six WorldRX rounds in 2014.

29 years old Norwegian female ThunderCar/Thundersport racer Molly Pettit has been offered to become the ‘LIVE reporter’ for the first six 2014 rounds of the all-new FIA World Rallycross Championship. Pettit: “For the past seven years one of my passions next to racing has been reporting and commentating from all kind of motorsport events in Norway. It all started at the streetcar events called ‘Gatebil’ in 2007, and ever since I have been reporting from Rallying, Racing, Crosskart, the ‘Solberg Extreme Motorshow’, the ‘Rudskogen Motorfestival’ and other events. I have also done commentating of the World Rally Championship (WRC) on Viasat over the last few years. I especially love the atmosphere, the excitement, the people – and of course the adrenaline output when reporting live.”

“A few weeks ago I received a phone call from the television production company for the FIA World Rallycross Championship. They offered me the job as ‘LIVE reporter’ at the first six rounds of the new championship series, Portugal, the United Kingdom, Norway, Finland, Sweden and Belgium. I will be reporting from the main paddock area, capturing all the drama and excitement from the side of the drivers and teams. I am so honoured and grateful for this amazing opportunity and can’t wait to get to the first round in Portugal at the beginning of May. However, I will also be racing as planned in the Norwegian Thunder Car Championship (NTCC) and the Danish Thundersport Championship (DTC),” stated the lady from Stavanger earlier this week.
