Fredrik Salsten: “I was born and have grown up in Sweden, but have strong bonds to the country of Norway, which passport I carry. As Norway is celebrating its 200 years of independence in 2014 I am very happy to represent Norway in Europe.” Therefore, Salsten has joined the Norwegian club NMK Trogstad, whose chairman Ola Frøshaug is a Rallycross driver himself and the reigning champion of the ‘NEZ Open’ category in the FIA North European Zone (NEZ) Rallycross Championship. Ola Frøshaug: “Fredrik has great skills as a driver, which I was able to eye-witness last year when he almost won the NEZ cup from me. I’m proud that he will drive for our club in the EuroRX series and I wish him all the best of Norwegian luck.”
