Three time European Rallycross Champion Sverre Isachsen is ready for the second round of the GRC at the Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth.
Sverre Isachsen and his two team mates of the Subaru PUMA Rallycross Team, Dave Mirra and “Bucky” Lasek, showed some good speed in the first round at the Charlotte Motor Speedway, and this time the Norwegian “Viking Warrior” is hoping for a podium place. “We’ve had a good test this week, and the car feels good. An A final and maybe a podium place is the goal for this weekend,” said the 41 years old Norwegian.
Former World Rally Champion Marcus Grönholm won the first race in Charlotte, and the Finn is one of the competitors this weekend together with other big names like Travis Pastrana, Ken Block, Tanner Foust, Rhys Millen and Liam Doran. The race starts at 3pm local time in Fort Worth, and will run before the IndyCar race at the same track later that evening. ESPN will show the event.
