WRX: Johan K. takes wet Portugal

The WorldRX weekend of Montalegre in Portugal remained cold, wet and muddy and when Day 2 came to its end it was Johan Kristoffersson who took overall victory from reigning World Rallycross Champion Petter Solberg while Timmy Hansen finished in third place.

The WorldRX weekend at Montalegre in Portugal remained cold, wet and muddy. Day 2 eventually finished with Swede Johan Kristoffersson winning the SuperCars Final from Norwegian Petter Solberg and fellow-Swede Timmy Hansen. (EL)

WRX: Bakkerud ahead of Solberg

The FIA World Rallycross Championship today started its 2015 season in soaking wet weather on a muddy track at Montalegre in Portugal. After Day 1 it is Ford campaigner Andreas Bakkerud who leads the Overnight Standings, Citroën driver and reigning World Champion Petter Solberg is in second position.
