WRX: Tie for Solberg & Ekström

After Day 1 of the WorldRX round of Belgium in Mettet reigning World Rallycross Champion Petter Solberg and his challenger Mattias Ekström are tied on equal 84 points, but due to his faster time in Heat 2 the Norwegian tops the overnight standings.

Day 1 of WorldRX of Belgium in Mettet ended with a tie in SuperCars, Petter Solberg​ and Mattias Ekström​ claimed 84 points each. In Heat 1 it was the EKSRX​ team principal who set the fastest time, in Heat 2 Timmy Hansen​ was quickest. However, Solberg holds place 1 of the overnight standings now, Ekström is in 2nd position. In Super1600s Dane Ulrik Linnemann tops the order after three heats, in TouringCar it is Norwegian David Nordgård holding the lead after Heat 3. (EL)

WRX: Hockenheim to join

The FIA World Rallycross Championship, presented by Monster Energy, has agreed terms with the World Motor Sport Council (WMSC) to hold a 13th World RX round alongside the 2015 DTM season-opener at the Hockenheimring in Germany, to be held from 1st till 3rd of May.

WRX: Stohl with Pucher

Yesterday it was announced that a two-car team, lead by former WRC star Manfred Stohl, will enter the 2015 FIA World Rallycross Championship. Joining Stohl in the all-new World RX Team Austria will be team owner and driver Max Pucher.
