After a strong second place at Lydden Mats Lysen and his team awaiting an exciting Dreux weekend.
Norwegian youngster Mats Lysen looks forward to the French ERC round at Dreux, after becoming the runner-up to Tanner Foust in the British ERC opener. Lysen is as usual well prepared and the mood of his team is at top level. “With 32 SuperCars entered for the main category it is very likely that there will be many exciting fights. With the new rules of this year to allow eight cars competing in the finals tactics have become even more important than before. As Mats is known to be able to deal with this it remains to be seen if we can score another pot full of points. Tanner Foust was very strong in England and eventually took a clear win, but Matt claims that he would be able to give the American more competition. As usual there is a considerable local participation in France. More than a dozen leading French drivers have entered and there are some that can interfere in the fight for ERC points. Last year Mats scored a second place in France, but this year we run on a different track, unknown to most of the ERC regulars. And as the weather-forecast predicts heavy rain showers over the weekend it could be that the choice of the right tyres will be crucial again,” claimed a spokesman of the team before leaving for Dreux.
