Swedish Rally ace Per-Gunnar Andersson is tipped to drive Peter Hedström’s Fabia Mk1 at Höljes.
Already in early January yours truly published a short news at the RallycrossWorld website that it seems likely that Swedish Rally ace “P-G” Andersson is going to drive in the SuperCars class of his home ERC round at Höljes this year. Over the coming weekend there will be the ‘Motormässa’ at Karlstad in Värmland and its organisers have now announced that Finnskoga MK, the organising club at Höljes, is going to reveal this year’s “Dark Horse” for the Swedish ERC round during their motorshow. The Höljes club has agreed to rent the Mk1 Škoda Fabia SuperCar formerly raced to two European titles by Lars “Stinsen” Larsson from its new owner, Peter Hedström.
According to by Finnskoga MK released information their 2012 guest racer is one of the fastest drivers in Sweden, but will be competing for the first time in a Rallycross event. Even looked at from this standpoint that Andersson has started his motorsport career as a Folkrace driver [a Swedish inexpensive entry-level form of Rallycross] this brings us back to the January news and the author herewith repeats his guess that the star guest at Höljes will be current Proton Super2000 campaigner “P-G” Andersson.
