Gerard Quinn is claimed to have released on Facebook that Ford is set to enter GRC/Global X Games after their withdrawal from the WRC.

Only one day after Ford officially announced its withdrawal from the World Rally Championship (WRC) motorsport chief Gerard Quinn (Head of Ford Racing in Europe, responsible for all European motorsport activities including WRC and Formula Ford) is said to have expressed on Facebook his anticipation about a commitment to the 2013 Global RallyCross Championship (GRC) in America as well as GRC’s Global X Games programme [Los Angeles in the US, Foz do Iguaçu in Brazil and Barcelona in Spain]. Note: Although Munich is also due to be part of the new Global X Games series, GRC has not listed Germany on its 2013 calendar yet.
