WRX: ‘Hollywood’ did it!

Norwegian Petter ‘Hollywood’ Solberg is the first driver ever to claim two FIA World championship titles in completely different motorsport disciplines.

By finishing in third place behind winner Timmy Hansen and runner-up Richard Göransson it is Petter Solberg who claims the first ever FIA World Rallycross Championship title. The 2003 World Rally Champion and 2014 World Rallycross Champion is 60 points ahead of his competitors and, therefore, unbeatable in the two remaining WRX rounds of Turkey and Argentina with currently four overall victories on his tally. WRX: Johan K. leads Italy

By claiming a second fastest as well as a fastest time it was Johan Kristoffersson who ensured himself the top position of the Overnight Standings at Franciacorta in Italy while WorldRX championship leader Petter Solberg faced engine troubles.

After claiming a second fastest time in Heat 1 and the fastest time in Heat 2 Johan Kristoffersson is leading the Overnight Standings at the Franciacorta International Circuit. In the same country, where the Swede has previously also been successful in tarmac racing to win the ‘Campionato Italiano Superstars’ title of the year 2012. (EL)

WRX: Team Citroën-PSRX soon?

According to an interview of the Norwegian government-owned radio and television public broadcasting company NRK Petter Solberg hopes to get his WorldRX team officially recognised by Citroën soon.
