Petter Solberg has confirmed to compete in Round 1 (Lydden Hill in Great Britain) of the 2013 ERX. Martin Anayi, Managing Director of RallycrossRX, said: “We are extremely pleased that Petter has committed to competing in the first round of the Championship. Petter is part of a fantastic line-up of drivers which we will be announcing in the coming weeks.”

Global RallyCross Championship (GRC) has announced the addition of Joey Mancari as the Director of Competition for the series. Former Director for the ‘NASCAR K&N Pro Series’ Mancari will be responsible for all aspects of competition and will oversee inspection of the cars and event officiating.

2003 World Rally Champion Petter Solberg has stated that he will participate in Round 1 of the FIA/IMG ERX series in England, to be held over the Easter weekend at the cradle of Rallycross, Lydden Circuit.

Erik Jockel, the just 17 years old son of 2004 and 2008 German Rallycross Champion Jörg Jockel, is set to drive the ex-Münnich Motorsport VW Polo Mk3/6N2 in the Super1600s class of the 2013 German DRX series.
