WRX: Timmy Hansen takes Day 1

After Day 1 of WorldRX Turkey it is Timmy Hansen who tops the Overnight Standings, having claimed a third fastest time in Heat 1 as well as a fastest time in Heat 2. Second position is in the hands of Toomas ‘Topi’ Heikkinen, Richard Göransson holds currently third place.

WRX: Turkey time is here

Round 11 of the inaugural FIA World Rallycross Championship will be staged at the Intercity Istanbul Park circuit in Asia, which hosted the Turkish Formula One race for seven years in a row, from 2005 till 2011. UPDATE: Ken Block and Tanner Foust have both pulled out from the event due to security risks in Turkey.
