In the footsteps of “Stinsen”

Category: ERC, May, News Posted 15.05.12 17:48 by

Swede Robin Larsson, the son of double European Rallycross Champion Lars “Stinsen” Larsson, has revealed the livery of his Škoda Fabia TouringCar today and is set to jump on the ERC bandwagon in Greinbach.

Robin Larsson, the 19 year old son of 2006 and 2007 European Rallycross Champion Lasse Larsson, has today revealed his former SuperNational Škoda Fabia Mk1 that has been converted by Ingvar Gunnarsson Motorport to a rear-wheel driven TouringCar. Today and tomorrow the teenager is testing his by ERC24 crew member Qba Nitka designed car at Höljes. There Larsson runs a two days test programme together with current ERC leader Anton Marklund, before the Swede will enter his first European round of the season at Greinbach in Austria.

For the ERC rounds of Great Britain and France the construction of the car was not finished as the team was still waiting for the delivery of a new engine and new gearbox. However, the current plan of Larsson is to take part in the European rounds of Austria (May 27) and Hungary (June 3), before the Scandinavien ERC events of Hell in Norway (June 24) and Höljes in his native country of Sweden (July 1) are due to follow.
