The results of the second free practice reveal American Tanner Foust to be quicker than home driver Liam Doran. Vadim Makarov takes Super1600 class, Anton Marklund was fastest in TouringCars.

Track conditions continue to get better here at Lydden Hill. A series of issues involving Irishman, Ollie O’Donovan slowed down proceedings with a typically violent engine fire in his ex-Isachsen Ford Focus. Escaping without injury the car was towed back to paddock, the issue unknown. “I got a little hot under the collar in there, we don’t know why it happened at the moment,” said O’Donovan.

But after the fire came some good performances by others. Tanner Foust finished fastest ahead of  Jean-Luc Pailler and Davy Jeanney in SuperCars. Vadim Makarov ahead of René Münnich and Ulrik Linnemann in the Super1600 class; and Anton Marklund was quicker than Derek Tohill and Tom Daniel Tånevik.
