Qualification at Greinbach is history now, the finals are due to start soon. While Davy Jeanney claimed his pole position already in the second runs Andreas Bakkerud and Derek Tohill did that in the third heats.

Nothing but sunshine over Styria and Greinbach and the qualifying heats have all been completed now. Frenchman Davy Jeanney ensured himself the pole position for the all decisive A final of the SuperCars already after the second heats. Irishman Derek Tohill claimed his A final pole by setting a fastest time in TouringCars, after he had already been fastest on Saturday afternoon. Similar situation with reigning European champion of the Super1600s fraction, a first place yesterday and a first place in the third heats paved for Andreas Bakkerud the way to the premier position of the A final grid.

Davy Jeanney took also part in the third heat, but finished 11th only. Timur Timerzyanov was fastest here to claim the place beside Jeanney on the A final grid, his time was two-and-a-half seconds faster than the time of runner-up Liam Doran. After setting a second best time yesterday Italo-Dutch Jos Kuijpers was quick again, drove the third time here to qualify for the first A final starting row. A start incident between Guttorm Lindefjell and Kevin Procter eventually forced the Norwegian into retirement and a hot discussion with the Briton after they both had returned to the paddock.
