GRC: No Speed limit in the Jungle

The first ever Global X Games event held in the Brazilian town of Foz do Iguaçu was won by ex-Formula 1 and later NASCAR driver American Scott Speed from Finn Topi Heikkinen and Swede Patrik Sandell.

The overall winners of Round 1 of the Rallycross Challenge Europe (RCE) at the Wachauring near Melk in Austria are master of the house Jürgen Weiß (A) with Ford Focus Mk1 in SuperCars, Klaus Freudenthaler (A) with Škoda Fabia Mk1 in Super1600s and Jos Sterkens (B) with Volvo C30/4 RWD in TouringCars.

Former Formula 1 and current NASCAR driver American Scott Speed during the RallyCross event of the Global X Games in Brazil: “After my first lap I thought I wouldn’t make it around the track.
