BRC/FRC: Round-up
Round 6 of the Belgian Rallycross Championship was won at Maasmechelen by Patrick Van Mechelen from Jochen Coox, while Round 8 of the French Rallycross Championship at Mayenne saw Jérôme Grosset-Janin ahead of Fabien Pailler.

RX: Bakkerud’s second triumph
For almost half of the way to the chequered flag it looked as if Petter Solberg would be able to win his first ever European round at Lohéac, but it was fellow Norwegian Andreas Bakkerud who eventually run away with his second victory after Höljes.

RX: Pailler Jr. & Hansen Jr. tie
Day 1 of Round 7 of the FIA European Rallycross Championship at Lohéac in France ended with a tie for the sons of the 1993 ERC winner Jean-Luc Pailler and the 14-times European champion Kenneth Hansen.
