NMK Drammen, the Norwegian organiser of no less than 25 ERC rounds since 1980, informed the press that their track Lyngås Motorbane is due to be closed for good.

Daniel Holten is set to race the European rounds in Hell and Höljes once again in Frode Holte’s Volvo C30/4 SuperCar where the Holten Motorsport team runs three cars in the three different classes.

RX: Rustad goes to Hell & Höljes

Today it has been revealed that Rallycross returnee Tommy Rustad is set to drive the ex-Ludvig Hunsbedt Volvo C30/4 SuperCar in the European RX rounds of his native Norway as well as in Sweden.

From Norway it was confirmed today that Tommy Rustad (winner of the Irish 1992 ERC round at Mondello Park in Martin Schanche’s 650+bhp Ford RS200 E2) is set to drive both the RallycrossRX rounds at his native Hell, on June 15 and 16, and at Swedish Höljes, on July 6 and 7. The car he is going to drive is the Volvo C30/4 SuperCar that has previously been used by his compatriot Ludvig Hunsbedt.
