Beside X Games in Spain and the RCE event in France there had been some more Rallycross events over the Pentecost weekend, such as in Finland, Germany and Denmark.

RCE: Winner without points

Belgian Koen Pauwels claimed overall victory in the second round of the Rallycross Challenge Europe at Essay in France, but has not entered with RCE to get points for the new FIA International Series.

Colin Dyne, Global Rallycross CEO: “Due to heavy rain and the resulting adverse course conditions, the Global Rallycross competition at X Games Barcelona was cancelled. Global Rallycross will announce the addition of another race as a makeup race on the calendar shortly.”

Yesterday’s Global RallyCross Championship event to feature in the Barcelona X Games programme was cancelled after heavy rainfalls due to an unusable all-loose surface track.
